Leatherhead FC gave their new management team a baptism of fire Tuesday, as they fell to a heavy defeat at Lewes- but they did debut six new players. Adam spent 2 years working in a category 1 academy environment and in addition, has experience at first team level with several clubs including Crawley, and most recently Dartford. His knowledge of football at development level through to first team, ranging from sides in the Premier League through to non-league, will be a huge asset to our club.

Adam has already met the backroom staff and the players, and will be looking forward to getting involved as part of our exciting new structure at the club, and we hope that the work that Mustafa and Adam can develop over the coming months will provide our fans with some positivity moving forward.

We can also announce that Jetmir Brija and Phil Stone will be ing the club as trainee coaches, and will be on hand to assist Mustafa, Adam, Qayum as well as everyone else working on the playing and technical team. Several councillors in the east of the county also had concerns about Southern services on the East Grinstead line. Reduced funding from the Government, and the need to improve reliability by operating at lower capacity into Waterloo, is blamed by S W Railway for its need to cut services. The widespread view at County Hall is that the proposals are totally at odds with the transport and climate change agenda to reduce car dependency, coordinate buses and trains and promote active travel eg walking and cycling to stations. The only stakeholder who has been sympathetic to the proposals to cut trains was Sir Paul Beresford MP for Mole Valley who repeated his view on Facebook and then in an newsletter.

The MP repeated the line that Bookham Station was not used enough to justify a better service than one train an hour.
